Required Documents for Vehicle Rental

  • Original Valid Driving License (issued by any Indian state).
  • Passport (if Driving License is not available).

Note: All documents will be verified by the Jeevika team before approval.


Age Requirements

  • Cars (5-Seater): Minimum age 23 years
  • Cars (7-Seater): Minimum age 25 years
  • Bikes & Scooters: Minimum age 18 years

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Non-Refundable Reservations: Reservations made within 72 hours or for luxury/specialty vehicles.
  • Cancellation Fee:
    • 50% of the deposit will be deducted if booking is cancelled after confirmation.
    • Same-day cancellations or no-show: Full 1-day rental amount will be charged.

Rental Extension & Late Return

  • Extensions must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Subject to availability. Standard rental charges apply (no discounts).
  • Vehicle condition must be verified via photos and videos before extension.

Fuel Policy

  • Vehicle must be returned with same fuel level as when rented.
  • Additional fuel provided will not be refunded.
  • Refueling cost will be charged if returned with less fuel.

City Limits for Scooters

  • Scooters are only for use within city limits.
  • Penalty of Rs. 1,000 if used beyond permitted area.

Vehicle Cleanliness & Maintenance

  • Standard Wash Charge: Rs. 100 (on rental day)
  • Excessive Dirtiness: Rs. 400–500 based on market rates

Driver’s License Requirements

  • Original Driving License must be submitted at the time of rental.
  • In emergencies, Passport or RC may be accepted.
  • Deposit amount varies based on documents submitted.

Speed Limits & Over-Speeding Penalties

  • Cars: 100 km/h
  • Bikes: 80 km/h
  • Scooters: 60 km/h

Speed alerts will incur fines based on severity.


Damage Charges

  • 5-Seater Car: Up to Rs. 40,000
  • 7-Seater Car: Up to Rs. 60,000
  • Scooter: Up to Rs. 20,000
  • Bike: Up to Rs. 30,000
  • Expensive Bikes (e.g., Royal Enfield): Up to Rs. 40,000

Market rates and insurance will determine final costs.

  • Damage not due to wear and tear will be charged.
  • Seat Cover Tear: Replacement cost applies.
  • Minor stitching defects: Not chargeable.
  • Missing accessories or parts: Charged at market value.

Refunds processed within 1–7 working days post vehicle inspection.


Delivery & Handover Process

  • Lessee must be present for pickup and return.
  • Inspect the vehicle before taking possession.
  • Damages must be reported immediately with photos.

Final Usage Terms

  • Late Returns: Double the hourly rate will be charged.
  • Smoking Penalty: Rs. 1,000
  • Pets Not Allowed: Rs. 500 fine if violated.
  • Clutch Plate Damage: Rs. 9,999
  • Number Plate Damage: Rs. 500
  • Accessory Loss/Damage: Full replacement cost charged.
  • Traffic Fines: User must pay and report to Jeevika immediately.

Serious Damage & Accident Penalties

Flat fine of Rs. 60,000 applies if any of the following occurs:

  • Airbag Deployment
  • Vehicle Rollover
  • Engine Seizure
  • Hydrostatic Lock
  • Underchassis Damage
  • Tampering of Vehicle Systems (GPS, Odometer, etc.)

FIR/NOC and original license required in case of accident.


Rental Conditions & Prohibited Use

  • Only the lessee may drive the vehicle.
  • Driving under influence or for illegal activities is strictly prohibited.
  • No participation in rallies or competitions.
  • No beginner or inexperienced riders.

Fuel & Maintenance Responsibility

  • Fuel is not included in rental price.
  • Vehicle will have fuel sufficient to reach the nearest pump.
  • Customer must check engine oil and report any mechanical issues.

Helmet Policy

  • One helmet per rider is provided.
  • Additional helmet: Rs. 50 per 24 hours.

Booking Confirmation

  • Sent via SMS or voice call post payment.
  • Payment confirms acceptance of all terms and conditions.

Overtime & Drop-Off

  • Overtime = Late Hours x Double the Hourly Charges
  • Lessee must inform 2 hours before end of contract for handover.

Jeevika Rights & Recovery

  • Jeevika reserves the right to fine, block users, or refuse bookings.
  • Legal actions may be taken in case of violations or non-payments.
  • Third-party recovery agents may be used if necessary.
